  • You get Unspecified Error on your Microsoft Outlook 2002 or 2003 profile which uses Word as email editor, upon trying to send a mail. You can remove this error by following this procedure:

Go to Tools → Options → Change HTML format to PLAIN TEXT

Unspecified Error will not appear the next time while usage but you will get Interface Not Registered Error; this error is due to problem with registry. Outlook add-ins interferes with Word and Outlook tasks creating bug in registry. To resolve this problem, you have to follow the below method.

Click Start → click Run → enter the command, Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\Ole32.dll in the Open box → click OK → in RegSvr32 dialogue box, click OK

If the problem still persists, then the Outlook PST file might have got damaged. Do not worry in that situation as you can solve issue by using MS Outlook in-built repair tool, scanpst.exe or Stellar Repair for Outlook. Download and install its free trial now.
