  • Everyone,

We think we have this resolved as of 1/12 in the evening pacific time.  let us know if you still see issues.

Note: if you're responding to this thread after, say, the 15th of January, your issue is unrelated to the problem posted above and I would prefer it if you started a new thread.

    Thanks,
    Mike

  • Phil,

We're going to have to get some account-specific information from you in order to help so lets move this off of the public forums.

    Here's two choices for you:

    1) click the "site feedback" link here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions and put in your information (the error code, and anything else), and then I'll get back in touch with you for your account information (particularly the info shown under the "Show Support Information" link on the My Account page.

    2) contact MSDNAA Subscriptions Customer Service.  You can find their contact information on the right side of this page: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/academic/bb250610 under the heading "Contact MSDNAA"

I'd be happy to help directly in the first option, but not many MSDNAA customers come my way, so I may have to route you off to the customer service team anyway.

    Thanks,
    Mike

  • Same happening for me, except I get the errors when searching for a product, any product, under "Subscriber Downloads". I can browse my product keys just fine.

  • Ok we're looking into this.  We're seeing some more errors on our side.  Will keep you in the loop.

    Thanks

Any update on this? I'm still not able to view the full list of product keys.

    Thanks

  • Hi Mike

As you can see, there are quite a few reports of this issue on these forums - any indication on what's causing the errors and if it's going to be fixed?

  • Hi everyone,

It is a bug or some kind of restriction enabled on the MSDN Subscription page. Even if you try to generate product keys you will receive an errror message.

  • Just thought I'd update everyone and let you all know this issue still isn't sorted.

To Microsoft's credit, they did create a new subscription ID as they just couldn't get their head around what was causing the problem. So rather than investigate and actually resolve it, they came up with a workaround instead.

This would be great, only the same error appeared after I claimed a few hundred keys.

Its amazing that I can report an XML error in their key download function and its resolved in 30 mins, but this problem has taken months, just absolutely terrible service. If MS can't resolve this, how can they expect us to have faith in their other products!!!

I've spoken to the MSDN contact centre on many occasions but I get the feeling nothing is being done to resolve this, I just get fobbed off (atleast it feels that way).
