How to make the MainPage load before loading the inner pages. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've been working on with windows phone 8.1 app in visual studio 13.The app consists of a login page and a main dashboard.From the dashboard when i select different tabs the corresponding xaml page should load in the same page . For this i'm using a code like this:

      <Grid x:Name="MainContent" Visibility="Collapsed" Height="Auto" >
                                <Grid.RowDefinitions>
                                    <RowDefinition/>
                                </Grid.RowDefinitions>
      <views:HoldingsView  x:Name="hlding" Visibility="Collapsed" Loaded="hlding_Loaded" Grid.Row="1"></views:HoldingsView>

    </Grid>

    So here the MainContent grid is inside the Mainpage and the HoldingView is another page in Views Folder. Whenever i run the app, before the MainPage's contructor is called, the view's contructor gets called.. as a result im not able to create actions on pageloaded.Is there anyway that i can forcibly make the MainPage constructor call before all the other inner Views's Constructor(views here meaning the inner page..eg:HoldingsView). I really need a help asap..Please.
