Push SQL Server Changes To Android Through WCF RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have a SQL Server 2008 R2 database that serves as a backend for multiple apps. I want to be able to detect certain changes in a few of the tables (ie. row insert/row update/row deleted) and push those changes to an Android app. I already use a WCF RESTful Service to pull data from SQL Server to the Android, so the simplest way seems to be to also use the same WCF service to push SQL Server changes back to the Android.

My question is, how do I detect changes made in SQL Server from WCF?

    Thank you so much!

  • Hi Lane95,

According to your description, I search on webs and find that the following thread provide a solution by using SQLDependency objects with LINQ for your reference.
