Slow app that, when profiled, is very fast !

Good day.

With VS2010 SP1 I've try to profile a windows client app.

In particular, I have a form (with many controls) that is very slow to load and unload.

When I'm profiling the app in a performance session (with the Vs2010 profiler) the load and unload are very fast !

Someone knows the reason ? And, how can I profile a slow method that, when profiled, is very fast ?

Sounds strange, do you use sampling? or instrument? for the windows client app, is it a managed application (e.g. Winform, WPF), or native application, e.g. mfc? any hint can help us to reproduce this issue is appreciated.
