    Hello,

I finished developing a project with Webmatrix Web Pages 3 using IIS Express. I have to present it to a group of panel, and their machine runs Visual Studio 2010. The condition is for us to submit our application to a map drive and we would run it each from there at our presentation times.

I want to know how to go about making sure it runs on it, I tried a demo with a friend's VS 2010, but its not running the project.

Any tips and links would be highly appreciated.

I'm afraid you are out of luck. Web Pages 3 runs against .NET 4.5. Visual Studio 2010 doesn't support 4.5. You need at least VS 2012. From memory, you need to downgrade to Web Pages 1 to get it to run in VS 2010, and even then you have to persuade the panel to install MVC 3 tools for VS 2010.

I'm currently using Web Pages 2 for the reasons Mike stated.  Web Pages 2 work fine using .Net 4.0 and VS 2010.
