Printer emulation software to capture direct IP printing and produce PDF or XPS files to a network share RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

I hope someone can point me in the right direction on this one.

We have some legacy systems that have to print directly to the IP address of the printer. This cannot change. However what we want is to be able to produce PDF or XPS files from those printouts so in stead of filing tons of paper we have them in electronic format. So I am looking for a way to achieve this either with software or some native tool or functionality in Windows either server or a Win7/8 workstation.

    Many thanks for your help.

    Regards,

    Dimitare
