  • Hello everyone,

I have setup SharePoint 2013 workflow. On the very 1st day the workflows were working fine. Next day I have been getting this.

I checked the Event Viewer. Here is what I found.

All the three services were running, but the service bus gateway service wasn't running. Here is the screen shot I got when I tried to start the service.

Any suggestions on this, how to make sharepoint 2013 work. I have seen services on server in central admin, Run the Refresh Token service metadata. Workflow is connected in Application proxy. I can see sharepoint 2010 working, but 2013 isn't working.

    Regards,

    Mike

  • Hi,

Could you check the connection between SharePoint server and workflow manager server(ping workflow manager server from SharePoint server)?

If the connection is fine, check the workflow manager site and service as below( the name is different based on your configure):

  • HI Lee,

I have checked WorkflowMgmtpool "started" and I have checked connection looks good. Checked Services:

    1. Windows Host Fabric Service  "Running"

    2. Workflow Manager Blackened "Running"

    3. Service Bus gateway "Not Running"

    4. Service Bus Message Broker "Not Running"

When I tried to start Service, here is the error message I get.

I get this error message for both the service bus gateway and Service bus message broker.

    Anymore Suggestions

    Regards,

    Mike

  • Hi,

Try to change the service account to other account and check, here is one thread for your reference.

  • HI Lee,

Thanks you for your reply. But as you see above I didn't set up with service account. It is local account. When I try to restart it, it shows the above error message "The Service Bus Gateway on Local Computer started and then stopped.

I tried changing to Service account also, still the error is same.

Going for the second method, right click on MY computer and click on manage, new window will appear showing computer management and Services, but I don't see any Application logs option to increase the log and override events

    Regards,

    Mike

And I created certificates during Installation. I have got no idea why this popping up...!

    Thanks,

  • Hi,

This may cause by old cert expired, here are two threads discussing about this for your reference.
