Output of Face Tracking API RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am working on measuring facial features using Kinect for anthropometric measurement application in Orthodontics. I am using Kinect sdk face tracking API from kinect sdk 1.8 .

The 2D feature point (121 points with x and y value) output of Face tracking API is in floating point. If the output is in image plane its not clear to me how the pixels have floating point value.

Besides the 3D output of the API ranges between -2 to +2 for all the x,y,z values of the point. Is it because the output is normalised.?
