I'm trying to learn C# and need some hands on learning. There were two wonderful Java books I read many moons ago that taught the language from a project based approach. You began the books with simpler applications (hello world etc) but as the chapters touched on more complex topics, you soon began to develop a real world application. Are there any C# books that teach from that perspective? I have OOP understanding and have written some simple applications. I find books that teach using impractical, unrealistic mini-programs to be somewhat tedious.
Rather than books, if there is a site with project ideas tutorials along with source code posted by successful students, I would love to know about that as well.
I suggest you read less and practice more. Just start an app headlong and keep coming here with your "stupid" questions. Many helpful hands will be extended to you. Bulldoze your way thru your code, stare at it for the very least.AlexB
