I can see your list is much longer..are there any crucial components missing in my computer?

I did try to open my projects on a different computer with Windows 7 , I got the same result.

I tried to open my projects on a different XP computer , the sln files could not be recognized ..
So , it seems that my projects are corrupted as you suggested . Very strange :(
I thank you for your help

  • Hi Dana888,

It's my pleasure. And thank you for your reply. :)

Based on the list of installed products, all the component seems to be well installed. I've installed some Security Update for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. That's why my list looks a bit longer.

I'm afraid that all the solution files you created in your previous XP machine seem to be corrupted. I suspect that Visual Studio 2005 was not well installed on the previous machine. Thus, the files could not be opened in other computers. :(
You would need to create new solution file and migrate the corrupted project to the new one.

    Have a good week!

    Best regards,
    Yichun Chen
