DAX Measures Error (Excel 2016 : PowerPivot) RRS feed

  • Hi Guys/Ladies,

    My company is running the latest version of Excel 2016 (32x) and there 2 kinds of errors <g class="gr_ gr_216 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling multiReplace" data-gr-id="216" id="216">i've</g> <g class="gr_ gr_215 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Grammar multiReplace" data-gr-id="215" id="215">facing</g> here.

    1) Measures (New) windows <g class="gr_ gr_287 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling multiReplace" data-gr-id="287" id="287">wont</g> pop up or react. When <g class="gr_ gr_386 gr-alert gr_tiny gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling multiReplace" data-gr-id="386" id="386">i</g> tried to create a new Measures, somehow the buttons are not responsive and <g class="gr_ gr_537 gr-alert gr_tiny gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling multiReplace" data-gr-id="537" id="537">i</g> can't create any measures at all.

    2) Manage Measures. I get this error ' <g class="gr_ gr_575 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" data-gr-id="575" id="575">Unhandling</g> exception has occurred in a component in your application."  and so on n so on. After which Excel crash and <g class="gr_ gr_899 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling multiReplace" data-gr-id="899" id="899">i've</g> to restart my entire laptop.

    Now <g class="gr_ gr_941 gr-alert gr_tiny gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling multiReplace" data-gr-id="941" id="941">i</g> cannot create a new Measures or Manage Measures.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Totally appreciate it
