Named Pipe Basic Test of HCK keeps failing RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I've written a filter driver to intercept the network packets and log all the relevant headers from the packet. This is implemented using Windows Filtering Platform (I don't use pipes). I've been running the HCK tests for Windows 8.1 - for getting the driver signed.

I don't use any sort of pipes in my code - but the "Named Pipe Basic" test continues to fail even after several attempts; specifically "ExecuteTest - Client" fails. It doesn't generate any log to analyse it further. I don't even know how this test is relevant to my driver and I'm not aware if I have to configure something before I start this test.

I am sure that any tips or assistance that one of you can provide will be very helpful in passing this test. Thanks in advance!

    Regards,

    Hari
