Error when updating a PivotTable RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have a problema when trying to use the Refresh function of the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.PivotCache (runtime version = v2.0.50727 and version = 15.0.0.0)

When is invoked it results: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

On Professional versions of Office 2016 doesn't occur, but on 365 ones and Home and Business it also occurs. Mostly in Business Retail 365. For instance in ProPlus version it also doesn't occurs.

Can anyone help on this matter.

    Thanks.

  • Hello NunoMAPeixoto,

Could you share us your code so we could know what you did? Did you use PivotTable.Refresh once you got the pivot table object or had you done any thing to the pivot table like the problem at answer?

    Best Regards,

    Terry
