Local report, resize when printing? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there any good way of resizing a report so it prints smaller than is displayed on the screen? I would like to make my report large to span a widescreen but shrink it down so it will print landscape on a regular sheet of paper. If not I will just have to create the report in printer friendly form. Thanks

  • Hi,
you have two properties that controls the size of the report, InteractiveSize and Pagesize

PageSize controls the size of the prints, InteractiveSize controls the size of the HTML view.

    Look at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms251701(VS.80).aspx for details.

    bye,

  •   I changed the Interactive Width and Height and notice no difference. Even so, Im not sure this is what I need. On a widescreen I would make the fonts larger, the columns larger
then I would want a shrunken version when it prints. I could make two reports but then I would also have to synch up how the drilldowns between the two reports when I print.
Must I dynamically alter the report or are there other properties? Thanks
