Convert Ink to Text in a 64 bit program RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am currently working on a program that has both a 32 bit and 64 bit version. This code has been updated from using an InkOverlay to using WPF and an InkCanvas to collect ink. The issue we are having is that we need to be able to convert the user supplied Ink to Text in both versions of the program.

This is a relatively easy process in the 32 bit program using the InkAnalyzer API. Unfortunately the InkAnalyzer API has not been implemented for 64 bit programs. What I'd like to ask is if anyone knows of another way to convert a StrokeCollection into a string repesentation of the text it represents without going through the InkAnalyzer API? Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  • Although this post is more than a year old, I could not find a solution to the same problem. Are there any improvements/solutions I missed?
