    hi... i am not sure this is the placeto aske his .. if not please guide me where i can post to get information on this matter... i am trying to settup a development server to run and test out dotnetnuke... i know how to install and get it running on my machine ... the were i am lost it how to set the server so that i can access the site from another computer this way i will have a server and i can work on the site from anywhere and dont have to be physically on the server itself... as you can see i am completely new to this ...

    by the way i forgot to mention i will be using windows 2000 .. but have the option to upgrade the computer to xp pro... but am not quiet suer where to start.. :)

    thanks that is exactly what i wanted... to set up windows 2000 as a webserver... i know how to do the rest... since i have already set it up for on my local computer but i want to be able to access it from my other computer and laptop.. thanks...
