Azure Connect UP but can not route accross

    Question

  • I have not completed a simple ping over VPN to my VM yet.

    I think I have 2 issues.

    1 Return route.

    I can see traffic going OUT of the gateway and can see it on my ASA firewall. But no traffic is seen going the other way.  Traffic only flows with NAT-T enabled in the VPN configuration. This may be a VPN config issue...but could use some suggestions before I call Cisco for support.

    2   Local VM network test.

    The VM did get an ip from the dhcp server, that is in my defined subnet. See below.

    I can ping the machines 172.17.17.4 address, but can not see the gateway of 172.17.17.1 or beyond.
