How to a Share Program That Uses Assets From Another Computer RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I finally finished a rough version of my program, Solitaire. However, I can't share my program and get feedback on my code because the card sprites that my program uses are on my computer. How can I share those assets?

I've heard of storing data in the cloud through web hosting. Particularly, byte host as well as tech wiki web hosting. Does anyone recommend one of the latter two or another web hosting service? Do I have to web host to store my data in the cloud? Are there other ways?

    Thank you.

I think, it is exactly about this problem says Ed Price on topic "Small Basic File Sharing on TechNet Gallery".

you can ZIP your whole program, including assets, then share a link to it from say OneDrive.

Post your link on the forum and we can download your ZIP, unzip it, run it and see your code.

If you don't have a ZIP program you can use 7-zip

I also think that eventually every programmer could benefit from having their own website. byethost is good.
