Assistance needed with uploading documents to the Document Library RRS feed

  • Howdy

I am running Sharepoint 2007 for my company and I have run into a snag when uploading some powerpoint documents into the library.

I have a folder with about 10, 50-70mb .ppt documents.  I have already gone into the management console on the server and adjusted the quotas on the max file upload size, but I cannot seem to get this one folder to upload.

When the files are selected using the "explorer" view, the error I receive is "documents are no longer located in (unc path), Verify the item's location and try again".  The folder was on another file server when I tried this the first time, but I put them locally on my machine and tried to upload them only to yield the same results.

I have other .ppt and .pptx files uploaded onto my Document Library with no problems.  I think I've done all the simple troubleshooting steps, but I can't find much doing a serach for the issue either.  I am a very novice admin and I am trying to make document sharing much easier for my company.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank You
    Wes

P.S.  This is my first forum post, so I hope I have this thread in the correct section.
