    This site has some good books: http://computerbookreviews.blogspot.com/ and the books "Pro C# with .Net 3.0", "Murach's C# 2005" and"C# CookBook" look like they might be something like what you are looking for.  There is a whole section of book suggestions for C# and for ASP.Net.  I hope you find what you are looking for.
