I would like to save any data that I collect from a form in an encrypted manner on the database. Usually passwords are hashed etc and saved but I'm looking for guidance/tutorial on how to do this so if a user saves the data the data cannot be read on the
database (so a DBA can't just read the data). Of course I need a way to decrypt it so the user can then read it.
I've seen some tutorials but the date is pretty old so there may be more modern advise?
