Microsoft Document Connection client on OS X failure RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We run sharepoint 2007 behind ISA. We have users who would like to use the Microsoft Document Connection client that comes as part of the Office 2011 software on OS X. The Microsoft Document Connection client just refuses to connect to shared document folders on sharepoint 2007, just saying permission is denied. The connection details are correct, I am the admin on the server. I have tried lots of different combination of login credentials, it always fails the same way. For info, I can connect just fine using a webdav client such as cyberduck.

Is there any way to troubleshoot the Microsoft Document Connection failure beyond using Wireshark or similar?

    thanks for all replies
