adding a table to an existing database RRS feed

  • I would like to know the specific steps in VS2913 to add a table to an existing database (MDF). I have previously followed a walkthrough that created a database with apparently 2 tables. In solution explorer, I can view the existing database and evidence that the tables also exist, but in server explorer, when I open the tables the two tables do not display (which is what I am used to seeing from VS2010). I have indicated that I wish to add a table to this database, proceeded to define my table, saved the sql from the definition step, and I do not understand how to proceed. I've made several guesses and seem to get no feedback saying I succeeded or failed. Since I cannot get the tables node to display table contents, I do not know whether I am really adding the table. PLEASE tell me where to get the guidance for accomplishing this small step
