  • This error comes usually if your SSO server is not started or the SSO service is not running on the SSO Server.
You can find the SSO Services in following location:

Administrative Tools --> Services --> Enterprise Single Sign-On Service.

  • As a second step, check your MSDTC transaction settings,

  • Hi,

This issue arrises when Biztalk is not able to contact to SSO.

    Possible reasons-

    1) Enterprise single sign-on service is not started.(check in services.msc and start)

    2) Master secret key got corrupted. (check in eventvwr)

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa560589.aspx

    3) Transaction log full for SSO db(Check if any such error message is present in eventvwr- Purge/Compress the logs)

    4) Issue with MSDTC configurations.

  • If the Options mentioned did not help then I suspect the User account doesnot have full rights to save the changes made to Receive location. Just check if it is a member of the Biztalk Server Administrators and SSO Administrators group.

  • Hi,

Go to Administrative Tools --> Services --> Enterprise Single Sign-On Service.

Start the service and do not forget to sign on.

Right click on Enterprise Single Sign-On Service -> Properties -> Log On -> This account and enter your credentials.
