  • Hello,

There is no specialized SQL Azure tool available, because SQL Azure is just like a SQL Server on-premise and Azure is like Windows on-premise, they are only hosted in the cloud; so you can use any common available tool.

  • Hello Amit,

Do you know that you can use SQL Server Management studio to connect to your Azure SQL Database? And you can use The Memory Optimization Advisor too!

For that, you need to configure your Azure SQL Server Firewall settings to let your current IP address in. And ensure that you know the Server Login details. If you are going to connect to a Azure SQL Database, then again you need to have a valid Database User with its password. Of course there are other authentication machanisms when it comes to Azure SQL Databases, but I guess this is enough for now.

  • Exactly what is it that you want this tool or plugin to do?

You access a memory optimized table in the same way as you access an ordinary table, so there is nothing different here.

Or you create natively compiled stored procedures. But, again, you access such a stored procedure the same way as you access a regular stored procedure, so again no difference for the used of such an object.
