Error on Project Creation

Question

I installed SpecExplorer 2010 (3.5.3130.0) on Windows 7 Enterprise Service Pack 1 (64bit), Visual Studio 2010 Professional.

However I cannot create new Spec Explorer Projects (opening the samples works fine)

When opening "File / New Project / Spec Explorer Model" I can choose any of the three options (Static, Instance Based, Guided), after clicking the "Finish"-Button I get an error.

I get:

Spec Explorer Wizard Error

Project: Wizard encounters fatal error when executing the action.

Action: Add project into the solution

Source folder: ... (existst)

Target folder: ... (exists)

Message : (DTE) Failed to add the project into the Solution.

Stack trace:
at Microsoft.SpecExplorer.VS.Wizard.Actions.AddProjectAction.Execute()
at Microsoft.SpecExplorer.VS.Wizard.SpecExplorerWizard.AddTestSuiteProject(...)

Several attempts of deinstalling and reinstalling SpecExplorer did not succeed (have not reinstalled Visual Studio yet)

Has anybody any suggestions?

Hi Uwe,

An idea: Are you using Visual Studio SP1 (10.0.40219.1 SP1Rel)?
Maybe some changes happened in including VS Packages compared to the older version (10.0.30319.1 RTMRel) ...
Hope that you can add/open the wizard sample manually etc ...
