Filter List Data with javascript on page - Need help! RRS feed

  • Question

  • Needing help finishing my script. The below script works but only with the document list.

    I have since mvoed to an only cusotm list database to be used with sharepoint and SQL.

    Would it be as easy as changing it to GetListItByID?

    This reads the iems in WPQ1 on page then filters the other items.

    Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Thank you for your question.
    I am trying to involve someone familiar with this topic to further look at this issue.

  • Hi design4fun,

    Have you tried it with custom list only page? If not, give a try with F12 debugging. As long as you can get the table you want to process correctly, the rest should be same.

  • Aaron thank you for your response.

    Yes I have a custom list alreay on the page. I have several cusotm lists.

    I don't think you understood what I am trying to do..

    I need to read a column of data then set it to string. Then filter the other lists using the string data.

    var table = document.getElementById('WebPartWPQ1')

    WebPartWPQ1 - Completed Items

    WebPartWPQ2 - New Items
    WebPartWPQ3 - Old Items
