AppDomain.CurrentDomain.FriendlyName contains error when running unit tests RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We use data-driven unit tests to test methods in our WCF services.
In the program that is being tested, the string value of the property AppDomain.CurrentDomain.FriendlyName is used to create a file name for a log file.
This usually works fine. But on one of our development workstations this property contains a strange value:

    "base {System.MarshalByRefObject} = {Name:UnitTestAdapterDomain_ForC:\Projects\Development\Code\BackEnd\TestResults
    \username_machinename 2009-04-20 13_50_28\Out\Services.Tests.dll
    There are no context policies.
    }"

Does anybody have any idea why this happens? Except for this problem, the unit tests work fine.

    Thanks,
    Bert-Jan Lappenschaar
