Specify Active Directory Domain? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm using NetTCPBinding with transport client credential type of 'windows'.  Is it possible to specifiy (e.g. in web.config) the Active Directory domain that is used for authentication and authorization?

    Thanks,

    Scott.

  • Scott,

You cannot specify the active directory domain. The underlying windows protocol contacts the appropriate AD. Is there a scenario that requires you to explicitly specify the AD domain?

    Thanks,
