Why do the forums show duplicates posts?

Why do the forums show duplicate posts in each thread?

This Occurs only for Answered threads
Its not duplicate posts
I would like to check this with u ...

(At Top R.H.S under your User Name u see the Link My Settings. Click It .Now u can see Always Show Answers First On Thread Page)
In your Account Settings Check whether u have checked the option for Always Show Answers First On Thread Page

so they appear in as duplicate posts.
Uncheck it and u will not find the Answers First for that specific post.Click Submit to Save your Settings

This is so five years ago - I see nothing like this now for the forum pages, but I still see lots of duplicated items in threads.

How can I suppress the duplicates?

Why should I even have to do this?
