    Hi All,

When I try to launch (from DVD as well as from virtual drive) the trial Windows web server 2008 (for x86 family), I get the following error message,

"Spwizeng.dll is not valid window image". if click ok then i get the following error message

"The file Autorun.dll could not be loaded or is corrupt"

Initially when I wrote the image file into the DVD, i got the following warning message from nero,

"the entered block size does not correspond to the image length. the block size may be wrong"

I ignored the warning and continued. But it doesn't work.

I downloaded the iso file from the following link.

Please help me to rectify the above error.

    thanks in advance

  • Hi Sami,

Have you tried with the IsoBuster or Deamon tools. These tools let you mount a .iso image as a drive.

However you can also open a .iso file using WinRAR and copy the contents of the file into a different folder. Now you can copy that folder in a CD/DVD.

Please let me know if you are facing any further difficulty here.

    Thanks

    Saswati

  • Hi Saswati,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have tried with VCdControlTool.  But I got the same error.

However I have not tried with WinRAR. I will try with this and let you know soon.

    Once again thanks.

  • Hi Saswati,

I tried to extract /open with WinRAR, but i got the following error message.

This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system
that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification.

For your info i am using "Windows Server 2003 Standard".

    Thanks

    Regards

The steps that I have followed is,

    1.       Downloaded the .iso file from the link http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=B1CB6D54-7268-4791-9C5D-CDB21516BF5A&WT.sp=_technet_,dcsjwb9vb00000c932fd0rjc7_5p3t&displaylang=en

    2.       R Click àExtract file àprovided the required folder location.

However this forum is dedicated to questions about Application compatibility and Certification on Windows Server 2008.
