Change behaviour when Variables or Arguments button on workflow designer is pressed? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it possible in Beta 2 to provide my own behaviour when the Variables or Arguments button is pressed on the workflow designer?  For example, can I alter the behaviour so that when the Variables button is pressed, I bring up my own editor/dialog instead of the built in WF variables editor?  If this is not possible, is there any current plan to add support for this before WF 4 RTM?

  • Notre, this support is not being added for RTM.  We've got a few work items for post vs2010 planning to think about shell extensibility. It's something we want to get to, but not something that we are doing for 2010.  Some customers I have worked with have gotten around this by disabling the display of our shell buttons and having their own button bar below the designer window.

let me know if that helps,
