How should my device respond to SET_CONTROL_LINE_STATE request by test? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to get my USB CDC device driver to pass the Driver Level Re-enumeration test by Windows HCK. The driver has passed the USB_IF certification. The test sends SET_CONTROL_LINE_STATE request to my device. How should my USB CDC device respond to this request. I do not see any communication in my Lecroy files after this request. Here is the pseudo-code for my response:

    void set_control_line_state (UINT8 control_signal)
       //ack_receive set up
       // Mask the bits we need (protect against future Windows driver changes) a,handle DTR and Carrier Control
       // sc_daughtercard_run() needs to be aware of connection status
       // if the CARRIER_CONTROL = control_signal, set device is active to false
       //send usb control in
       // wait if usb read control is not enabled
