Multiple WebParts in one Project Detail Page - Reload after Saving RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have put 2 webparts into one project detail page. I added the project fields webpart with the project start date and also the scheduling webpart below. Changing the start date and saving will shift the task again but this is only reflected once I reloaded the page. Currently the user would need to reload or press F5 manually. What would be the best approached to reload the page after saving.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best Regards

  • Easiest solution would be to add a Content Editor Webpart on the page with
instructions to refresh the page to refresh the schedule.  Doesn't solve
your problem, but it's a possible suggestion.

  • This might be an option, but this is not really an option and thats the reason I started looking for a solution.

  • Hitting F5 is going to be the best bet here short of developing your own webpart.

  • Hi Brian,

I know that hitting F5 is the best solution, but I am not asking for this one. Are there any other solutions? Is it possible to include an event handler into a custom webpart for the OnSaved or OnPublished for only the current opened project and once the event is fired to reload it?

    Thanks and Regards
