Style a Databound ListView RRS feed

  • Question

  • So my coder hooked up a Listview that is databound in my program and I need to style to mouseovers of the filled items to get rid of the default blue chrome look.
Also need to change the the row look when selected.

How can I do this when I don't have any pre-added listview items in Blend that I click on and edit?
Once I add one it breaks the databinding function.

    thx for any tips!

  • Hi BaseHead - typically, as a designer, I'm handing off to the engineer but my thinking is if the process were reversed and a resource dictionary was in place then I would be able to apply styles to listbox and listbox item templates.

    ...hope that makes sense.

  • Carmine,

Thanks for the response.  I am the designer so I have full control over the GUI, but the the question is how can I apply a style to a LISTVIEW item that I can't right click on and apply a style to?
Cuz there is nothing to click on since the items for the listview need to be blank due to databinding that my coder hooked up already
