SSRS 2005 matrix - calc difference between two rows in a group?

I am creating an SSRS 2005 matrix where I'd like the subtotal row to calculate the difference between the two rows in each group (see example below).  Is this possible in a matrix or should I use a table instead?

MainGroup     SecondaryGroup       Column1       Column2

Group ABC     Date 1 group               100                70

                       Date 2 group                   7                20

Subtotal  for ABC                              93                50

Group DEF     Date 1 group               222                10

                       Date 2 group              200                  9

Subtotal  for DEF                              22                  1
