Slow mouse cursor movement issue in WEC7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We had developed a BSP for one ARM based platform.

WEC7 mouse cursor movement seems to be very slow. Ex. When mouse cursor is moved in circular way for 5 times, it takes one or two second more to settle, after leaving the mouse.

This is on USB mouse. I had checked the same by giving mouse input from WEC7 remote desktop utility. The same cursor movement behaviour is observed on WEC7 LCD.

Is this the issue with display?

Please give your inputs on this.

    Thanks.

    With regards,

    Keshava

  • Could be very many things, many not even related to the mouse. My first thought would be to check if you clear the interrupt flag after handling the interrupt. If you don't the IST will fire continuously, thereby slowing down the entire system, especially if this thread is running at an elevated priority.

  • Thanks for reply, Michel.

I have checked with the remote performance monitor. The kernel time and processor time is increasing from 2% to 54% when mouse cursor is moved.

Please let me know your thoughts on this.

    Thanks.

  • Nothing has changed, see my previous post. Most likely issue is listed there.
