    hi

    i compeleted my firs web site and i have a server and it has windows server 2008 r2

    what should i do to upload y web site on this server ???

    thank you all :)

    my server is not shared but i forgot to install the .NET FRAME WORK4  

    and when i installed that direct links showed up

    and i had to delet all defult pages on the IIS and suddenly every things became ok :)

    copy your folder to server. add site or applicaton in iis from the folder. configure app pool to use appropriate net version. configure default document by adding default.aspx at top of the list. try in server browser

    i added the DB on host server I installed the IIs and added the published file of my project but there is a problem THE FILE or ASSEMBLY 'BLL' OR ONE OF ITS DEPENDENSIS NOT FOUND

    may I know how do you host your database? Is that on a shared db server? If yes, you need to contact your hoster

    If not, please attach the screenshot of the error message here so that I can help you.

    You need to upload all files to server space especially the bin folder with it's dlls.
