I am using same database for online and local for my website.
Locally whatever i update, save , get, select within form, response time is just fraction of seconds but online page takes too much time to load. UpdateProgress keep loading.
sometime loader stuck and browser stop running and ask for kill page or wait.
Why so?

I would contact hosting support and see how they will respond. Sometimes it's a quick fix on server end.

FOR ONLINE
change debug mode
debug="false"
define pool size in connection string
<add key="MSSQLConnectionString" value="server=xyz ;Initial Catalog=zzz ;Integrated Security=True; Pooling=true;Min Pool Size=20; Max Pool Size=100;" />
