Cross Browser Testing

Question

Hi All,

How can i use the codedui testing scripts to tests in different browsers?

Is there any option with out installing plugins and so on?

Hi Hameetha,

For VSTS 2012 you will need to install the update 1 and no separate plugins will required (the required components are automatically placed at the required place). After this CodedUI can support IE, Chrome and Firefox. 

Only Latest versions of Chrome and Firefox are supported. You can check the MS site for more details.

To add to Pankaj's reply, installing VS update 1 on top of 2012 will enable you to do Cross Browser testing after installing the Selenium plugin. Install wouldn't work on my Machine - claimed I didn't have Visual Studio 2013 installed but I have legit Ultimate 2013.

Any thoughts?
