EDISend Pipeline context Properties RRS feed

    Hi,

    I am working on saving EDI control numbers to a BAM definition.  I see that the EDI Send pipeline writes the following properties to the message context:

    <Property Name="InterchangeControlNo" Namespace="http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/2006/edi-properties" Value="000000059"/>

    <Property Name="InterchangeDate" Namespace="http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/2006/edi-properties" Value="080604"/>

    <Property Name="ReceiverID" Namespace="http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/2006/edi-properties" Value="PARTYA "/>

    <Property Name="SenderID" Namespace="http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/2006/edi-properties" Value="PARTYB "/>

    <Property Name="InterchangeTime" Namespace="http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/2006/edi-properties" Value="0910"/>

    <Property Name="ReceiverQualifier" Namespace="http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/2006/edi-properties" Value="ZZ"/>

    Where can I find the the schema for http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/2006/edi-properties ? The documentation references the AS2 Status Reporting but it's not available in the Tracking Profile Editor.

  • Hi,

    Thank you for looking that up.  I found that information in the Biztalk help too.

    I resolved my issue.  I created a property schema for the context properties and deployed it to the server.  I then created a BAM activity that includes an outbound ISA control number field.  I used the Tracking Profile Editor to map the InterchangeControlNo property from the Send port using the EDISend pipeline.

    Thanks,

    Mike

  • Hi Mike,

      The above mentioned Context properties are internal to EDI/As2 Status reporting. I think we don't publish schemas for them.

      You can read in more details at:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb226483.aspx

    "The following message context properties are not publicly exposed, so you cannot use them for operations such as message routing. However, they can be viewed in suspended and tracked messages. The namespace for these context properties is http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/2006/edi-properties."....
