Answers

  • what is your purpose? accessing mail database ? or accessing content manager? . In both case, without IBM's provider control, you cannot proceed.

  • Why you need OLEDB to connect with Lotus?. Lotus provides DOMINO com object. You can find this under com tab, while adding refrence.

  • Hi Mike_9999,

You are right, I can use this COM object, but the problem is if I am running the program in an environment that do not have lotus client then the program won't run.

I know there have two methods to call lotus note DB (*.nsf) at .NET

    1) Notes SQL that implemented by IBM (This one require at least Lotus Client installed at windows in order to run the installation)

    2) Use Domino COM object provided provided by .NET. (Still, it need Lotus Client)

Unfortunately, all these two solutions require me to install Lotus Note Client. I wonder if there have any solution to call lotus note DB without installing Lotus Note Client.

    Tq.
