display all columns in a matrix RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a matrix that displays columns of probability for a sale to close. They are 90,70,55,40,10,5. How can I display a blank cloumn for say 90 even if there are no sales with that probability?

  • Hi,

You can specify your own data in a matrix even if there is no data. Try to set the data cell expression to be

"=iif(Fields!probability.Value is nothing, "BLANK", Fields! probability.Value)".

Please let me know if this helps.

  • If your probability rating is pre-defined in another table (which is best, since you have static values), I think the easiest way to get 0 values is to make an OUTER JOIN in your query.
