CMD Net Use list nothing after connecting to a network storage via "Run" in Windows 10 build 9926 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I connected to a network storage via Run > \\networkIPaddress\filesystem and also can do some file read/write on it. But type command "net use" in Command Prompt, there are no entries in the list.

After that, I tried mount a network storage thru command "net use z: \\networkIPaddress\filesystem", and then check "net use" command. It can list the connection and also can do file read/write via cmd. But z: disk is not appeared on File Explorer > This PC.

In Windows 7 and Server 2012, I can check net use connection list correctly no matter which way I mount to network storage. Is this a bug or Windows 10 designed?
