  • Question

  • Hi Gary,

I'm having exactly the same error too when installing the new ASDK.  I'm installing the ASDK with Azure VM with nested virtualization based on this article :

    http://www.danielstechblog.info/running-azure-stack-development-kit-azure/

    Build/Version:

    1.0.171020

    Directory type:

    Azure AD

    Network:

    Static

The method used to access the Internet:

    NAT (Network Switch)

    BareMetal or Nested Hyper-V:

    Hyper-V (Nested)

Hope you can find the solution asap, thank you.

  • Hello Wai,

Can you try restarting the ADFS VM, allow 5 minutes to plumb all the services up and retry the ASDK deployment.

Keep in mind,  CloudBulder.vhdx needs to run on a BareMetal Server and not run as a virtual machine running on Hyper-V or VMware.

Running ASDK on a nested hypervisor is not a tested or supported scenario.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your time and interest in Azure Stack.

If you continue experience any issues with ASDK release, feel free to contact us.

     Thanks,
