Windows 8.1 - Cannot change Client status from 'Not Ready' to 'Ready' in HCK Studio RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

I've just installed Windows 8.1 HCK Server and client.

I can't change the state of the client machine from "Not Ready".

I've checked the proposed solution in http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsdesktop/en-US/97c02a00-7013-439c-9466-9eada426bea5/cannot-change-client-status-from-not-ready-to-ready-in-hck-studio and it doesn't help

I don't see the service wttsvc  in the client machine and I can't start it (it's not installed)

    Thanks in advance,

    Haim.

  • Hi

    I've found the problem

When I moved the machine from the default pool to a new pool  - now it enables to change it to ready

    Thanks

  • Can you provide more details? Are you trying to change the state in HCK Studio? HCK OM? HCK Manager? Do you get a particular exception and/or message when trying to change the state?
