Change Sharepoint Page background color RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I Created one page in my SharePoint site and would like to have a background color, but applies to only half of my page:

    <style type="text/css">
     #s4-workspace{
         background-color: #0eafc0 !important
     }
     </style>

     .ms-core-overlay{
         background-color: #0eafc0 !important
     }

    I still get half (the bottom) of my page colored. is there any code that I can point to top and mid specifically in my page and try that too.

    I don't have access to SharePoint designer and the other code still doesn't work. I tries Dennise solution but I still get half ( the bottom) of my page colored. can you think of any code that point to the section of my page? or whle page or something similar?

    Please provide some screenshots for further research.

    Or we can use IE F12 developer tools to check the CSS style.
