history of commands or actions performed in Outlook RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there, Is there a way to capture all the commands made in outlook win32 or web or both? Would it be possible to capture them in a DB? As example capure actions like moving email in a folder, creation of category or replying?

  • Again, you can try to hack a solution using Win API or intercept the network traffic, but, as I pointed out, there is no publicly available API for that.

  • Nothing like that is exposed for public consumption, even tough Outlook collects telemetry data.

  • Hi Dmitry,

Thank you for your reply, maybe this is achievable if the mailbox use the IMAP configuration?

would it be possible to do that at the exchange level if it is not possible from the win32 client?

It would be great if you can articulate your answer?

    thank you

    John.
