    Hi All

we have recently migrated our internal website from IIS 6 to IIS 7.5  and Windows 2008 R2 eveything is working fine but as soon as user try to export crystal reports to excel or pdf, he gets the blocking message in IE saying "internet explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer"

Is there any reason why IE is blocking export?

    Any suggestions ?

    Regards

I think the problem may be IIS does not have a MIME type configured for those extensions. A quick google search will reveal how to configure mime types for PDF(.pdf) and excel (.xls/.xlsx)

I have tried it on IE 8 and IE 9.

In IE 8 it is working only if you enable the download from Security setting of IE

but in IE9 it is working fine on the default settings.
